Background: 

Triangle was contracted by the International Labour Organisation Regional Office of Arab States to assist their Communication Unit in increasing the visibility of the ILO ROAS efforts in advocating for decent work in the region.  The aim of this assistance is to increase collaboration with constituents and partners through facilitation of clear transmission of information between the ILO and their stakeholders. 

The International Labour Organisation (ILO) Regional Office for Arab States promotes social justice, decent work and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development across the Arab States. It implements innovative programmes guided by the four pillars of the Decent Work Agenda: employment creation and enterprise development, social protection, standards and rights at work, and social dialogue. 

Triangle’s Assignment: 

• Webpage Updates: In consultation with the Communication’s Unit, Triangle’s media experts developed plans to update ILO ROAS webpages, ensuring they reflected key priorities and included necessary sections or portals 
• Editorial Support: Triangle provided editorial support to events and initiatives through media advisories, press releases, social media posts, and talking points as required. 
• Advanced Visibility and Engagement: Through this collaboration, Triangle contributed to strengthening the visibility of ILO ROAS’s advocacy for decent work, fostering better communication and engagement with stakeholders in the region.
