Background

Established in 2017, Fundacja Polska Gościnność (Polish Hospitality Foundation) supports actions meant to improve the lives of immigrants and refugees and to make Poland a more open and tolerant country, where everyone is treated with respect. Even before the onset of the Belarus crisis and the Ukraine refugee influx, Fundacja Polska Gościnność established itself as a viable and sustainable responder, capable of identifying, documenting, reaching, and supporting people in need during such crises.

Triangle’s Assignment

In response to the Ukraine crisis, which threatens to become one of the world’s largest and most complex refugee crises, Triangle has supported Fundacja Polska Gościnność with a holistic technical support package. This package includes Partnership Management; Planning Opportunity Identification & Donor Engagement; Securing Public and Private Resource Development; MEAL; and Donor Reporting. The services provided helped to initially set up the response infrastructure now being used to respond to the refugee crisis stemming from the conflict in Ukraine.

• Partnership Management and Planning: Triangle assists in maintaining effective partnerships and developing fundraising documents, budgets, and proposals to support the Foundation and its partners. This includes identifying funding opportunities and representing the Foundation’s interests to potential partners and donors.
• Resource Development and Management: Triangle supports the development and submission of concept notes and proposals, incorporating feedback and managing the cost proposals process in collaboration with Fundacja Polska Gościnność. This effort extends to supporting proposal development specific to country needs and maintaining knowledge management systems around resource development.
• Award Monitoring and Donor Reporting: Triangle serves as the main point of contact for assigned awards, ensuring effective communication with donors. This includes managing financial reporting, monitoring budget allocations, and ensuring compliance with donor requirements. Triangle facilitates timely, accurate reporting and reviews final donor reports to ensure all communications and amendments are effectively managed and recorded.
